DID YOU KNOW
- A horse's usually given furosemide before racing in order to minimize the liquid inside its body. Furosemide turn the water inside the horses's body into urine. After letting out the urine, a horse can lose about 9kgs!
- Drinking tea 4-5 times a day is good for our teeth! Tea contains fluoride that can strengthen our teeth. It also can prevent mouth cancer.
- When taking off, air pressure inside a plane would decrease. It causes some air is trapped inside our ears. This air has to get out to adjust the air pressure outside our ears. This is a reason why we feel our ears are suddenly closed. The same condition happens when a plane is landing.
- Congenital amusia is a situation where people can't differentiate tone of music.
- Dogs do eat weeds. They eat grass when they feel something wrong with their stomach. It can be caused by bacteria inside their stomach. Weeds are needed to make their stomach do the contraction so that dogs can throw the bacteria up.
- Why do we need the English word "queue" instead of just "Q"? They have similar sound, don't they?
