I prefer HP although I'm a big fan of Twilight series.
The character of Harry has taught me a lot. The worth of friendship, hopes, curiosity, etc. I conclude that Harry often didn't understand what was gonna happen, WHY were things happening. He just let things happen and flow. HP told me that though you don't have any family that shares the same DNA with you, you will always get their loves from someone else. That one has happen to me in this real life.
I also like the moment Hermione, the best student ever, took control of her life by deciding to break the rules for her friends. Harry taught me not to immediately conclude to hate people who have bad attitude, bad personalities, and bad images. You don't know when you're gonna need them, when you're finally gonna love them instead. That's why Harry named his son Severus. Talking about Severus, I adore this character sooooo much. Severus Snape'd shown the true love of a man! His love for Lily strengthened his big, sweet sacrifice.
About Twilight series, I do fall in love with Edward Cullen. But the contain of the books dominated by love, love, and love, until I found it too much. I think all females who love Twilight actually know that it's impossible for real men to be almost perfect like Ed.
Well, the books did make its "vicarious experience" function of media work. Anyway, I still thank Stephenie M. for let me have a
picture of the most beautiful (vampire) man.
